Are you looking to expand your portfolio this year or sell some or all of your portfolio? With the recent headwinds of a global pandemic, increasing legislation, rising costs and global political uncertainty, it’s easy to get despondent about prospects for the property market and property rental in particular. However, a recent relatively optimistic sentiment survey of landlords suggests many remain upbeat about the prospects for the sector. According to the Shawbrook Bank survey, a third of landlords’ plan to expand their portfolio in the next 12 months, buying at least one or more properties.
Of those, 14 per cent say they aim to buy more properties than they had initially planned, showing trust in the market moving forwards.
There is lots planned within The Property Lifeboat as well this year. We are focusing on re-financing, refurbishing and growing the portfolio. We have recently acquired an additional up and running HMO and are in the process of acquiring several more.
We are always looking for new properties to purchase in Kent and Medway, so if you are looking at selling, we are particularly in search of Multi Unit Blocks (freehold), individual properties with tenants in situ and HMOs (with or without tenants in situ). We are also looking for mixed use property and sites. So, get in touch!
